Will and the Bees

Last night we took will to his very first baseball game, the Salt Lake Bees vs the New Orleans Zephyrs. He was actually even awake for most of the game. Not that he was paying much attention to it. He found much cooler things to look at such as the sky and the lights.

He spent most of night in mom's lap, and some time in dad's playing games with him.

It ended up being a really good game though. At the end of the 9th it was a 3-3 tie and so had to go into a 10th inning. In the top of the 10th New Orleans scored 2 runs. The Bees got to the bottom of the 10th inning with 2 men on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs. The hitter that was up had 2 strikes on him. (No I am not kidding this is actually what had happened. Anyhow with 2 strikes on him he ended up hitting a home run out to right field to give the Bees the win 6-5. I would say that's not such a bad way to experience a 1st baseball game. But then again, Will really didn't know what was going on.
