Off to Utah Once Again

So I am desperately trying to keep up on my blogging as so far this has been a very busy summer, and I am trying to keep track of everything that we are doing. We got home from Boston on a Wednesday only to turn around the following Sunday and fly out to Utah. We are going to be here for just over a month, and it will be really fun for Will to spend some time with the Edwards' side of the family.

The Monday after we got here Cari, Blaine's sister and her family invited us up for Family Home Evening. When we got there, both Will and Blaine desperately needed haircuts and since Cari is pretty good at doing it she volunteered. I don't have a picture of Blaine, but here is Will after getting his first ever haircut (technically he has had his bangs snipped once before, but this is the first full fledged haircut)

Will's first haircut (Sorry it's kind of hard to see, but Cari did a great job)
After getting the boys' hair cut, then we had dinner, then headed over to a park near Matt & Cari's house and played a few games of sand volleyball. We had a really fun time, and look forward to doing it again before we head back to Carolina. Will got to ride in the stroller with his cousin Owen and they got to go over to the park with Grandma Jean while everyone else played volleyball.

While at Grandpa Wayne's and Grandma Jean's house Will has found his new favorite thing, STAIRS. Grandma Jean has a multi-level house so there are 3 half flights of stairs that he can climb up. He wasn't allowed to climb the stairs at Grandma Sally's because they are full staircases, hardwood, and a little more steep. Anyhow Will has thoroughly enjoyed climbing the stairs MULTIPLE times per day.

We also have got to go and see cousin Ethan play lacrosse and make some smores. Here is Will roasting his first marshmallows. No he wasn't very happy about it, but it also happened to be bedtime so he was pretty tired. Hopefully next time it will be a little bit more fun.
So as you can see the start of our vacation has been a lot of fun and we are looking forward to a few more weeks of relaxation before Blaine has to head back to school.
