This last week my sister Lynsee and her family as well as another family from the area came down to vacation between Charlotte, the Lakehouse, Charleston and the Farm. Although we did not join them at every location we did get to the enjoy Charleston and the Farm. We had a blast getting to see some of the old Charleston tourist sights again and we always enjoy getting to spend time at Grandpa Ladd's farm. So ahead is once again picture overload, but that's okay that's what makes blog posts fun.
Playing on the beach with Mom and Cousin Lucy (These three little rasals didn't really like the water, but I even have to admit, it was pretty cold still.)
No trip to Charleston would be complete without seeing Waterfront Park and playing in the Fountains.

After a couple of days in Charleston we headed to my Dad's farm where we could ride 4-wheelers, let the kids run around, eat some dutch oven and enjoy a big fire. We had a blast.
Peter, Lucy & Rhett (These 3 cousins are less the 6 months apart, they should have a blast playing together as they grow up.)
And of course the tire swing
Nana Sally bought all of the kids squirt guns, needless to say they were a huge hit. Here are the 5 older kids playing with them (Emilie, Addison, Kim, Will & Zoey)
Thanks Lynz and Mike for coming down. We love playing with our cousins and getting to catch up.
