This entry is to celebrate the newly crowned Mountain West Conference Champions, the University of Utah Utes. Yes they did beat BYU today by doubling their score, 48-24. This gives the Utes an undefeated season of 12 wins and no losses, and a spot in the BCS. Today in the Edward residence all of us were decked out in our Utah shirts or at least wearing red. I even made Flip and Clutch, aka Swoop and Tonto, their own Utah Ute capes, as seen in the picture above. For those of you wondering what Blaine's shirt says, it simply states, "Friends Don't Let Friends Go to BYU, followed by a big Utah name and symbol (donated graciously by my mom, though if you ask her about she will deny it being a zoobie by nature.) Anyway CONGRATULATIONS to the Utes and good luck in you championship bowl game. (Blaine wanted me to dedicate this blog entry to all the Warnes out there. GO UTES!!!)
(By the way Swoop is the Utah Ute mascot name, and Tonto is a good side kick, just ask the lone ranger)
