Fishing & Playing Cards

First of all before I continue telling you about our vacation in Utah, Blaine wanted me to make sure that everyone knew that we now have a Pac Man game on the side bar that you can play. If you would like, please feel free to enjoy it.

Now onto our vacation in Utah. One of the things we have enjoyed doing the last few nights is playing card games. Since we lost Tom and Emily our card playing friends, we haven't got to play much so it has been a lot of fun playing with Blaine's parents and his friend Cory.

On Thursday Blaine's sister Kelli and her family invited us to go fishing with them at Tibble Fork up American Fork canyon. We had a lot of fun. There was only one fish caught that day and that was by Blaine, but he did not catch it with a pole. He was out in the shallow water looking for where the fish were and one came swimming by his so he just grabbed it with his hand. The fish had swallowed a hook from another fisherman and was about to die so Blaine just kept it. He fried it up today, but said it wasn't as good as it could have been if he would have marinated it. Even with the lack of fish, we still had a really fun day visiting with Kelli, Jeff, Jacob, and Ian. Thanks for inviting us guys.

After fishing Blaine wanted to take a drive up American Fork Canyon as this is one of his favorite canyons in Utah. I have to admit it was absolutely gorgeous. It has a lot of sheer cliffs and gorgeous trees. It is amazing what beauty nature can provide.

Blaine's trip to Utah is coming to an end tonight as he has to take the red eye flight back to Mississippi so that he can be to work. I am going to be staying here for another few days and going to visit some of my extended family. We have had so much fun and are excited to come back to Utah at Christmas where we can participate in many of the winter activities Utah has to offer.

Thanks Wayne and Jean for letting us stay and the rest of the family and friends for making this such a wonderful vacation. We had a blast.
